Classical Minded Cat

Me taking a cat nap
(circa: December 2014)
Whenever Morgan is heading out, whether for a while or for a short period and save for those times it slips his mind, he puts on the radio for me so that I will have my favorite station to listen to while he is away.

If, like me, you have an ear for classical music, you might enjoy listening to VPR Classical Radio as well.

Classical music helps to sooth me and also sometimes aids in drowning out certain loud noises coming from either elsewhere inside or outside our apartment building.

It is the same type of music or possibly even the same radio station that the Central Vermont Humane Society (CVHS) had playing in its lobby, which is where my crate and I happened to be located, when Morgan came to adopt a new cat back in  early December of last year (2014).

Oftentimes, when Morgan is off on one of the public access online computers checking his email and doing whatever he does online, using his headphones to do so, he streams this particular station.

Since he enjoys this same type of music as I do, Morgan sometimes puts the station on when he is home and does not have the TV on, including when he reads the paper or a book and so on.

The exceptions to our having VPR Classical radio on is when they are playing opera music, which neither of us enjoy. Morgan had put the station on when he went out one time a few months ago and, later on, it was playing opera music. Upon his return, I let him know about how I did not care for it one bit (true that!).

One Fast Cat Exercise Wheel: Working Out

* Updated * (with the usual edits and the like) As reported within an update made to a previous post ( here ), my One Fast Cat exercise wheel arrived earlier this month, however assembly of it was delayed for a time due to certain technical complexities that cropped up for Morgan during the assembly process . Me lounging (circa: December 2014) This is also pretty much what I was doing after using my exercise wheel this morning as well After Morgan was able to get other things that needed doing done, including preparing for the annual apartment inspection that took place late last week, and then resting up a bit, on Sunday afternoon he was able to successfully complete the assembly of the exercise wheel. Once that was finished he brought it back up to our apartment, moved some of the furniture around in order to make room for the wheel and set it up for me so I could thoroughly inspect and check it out. He tried enticing me to get on it several different times afterwar

New Cat Condos Deluxe Cat Tower

As Her Highness Cleopatra ( Cleo ), I am currently perched atop my new nearly six-foot-tall four-tier New Cat Condos deluxe cat tower, which my human ordered for me and was delivered this afternoon. I could not wait to get up onto it, even during its assembly. Once the cat tower was assembled, I went right to the top perch and am very content. Until the new TV mounting stand arrives next week and my human everything set up in order to put the new cat tower alongside the end of the room divider, it is temporarily positioned next to the dining table. My human believes is definitely worth the investment. The existing six-foot-tall five-tier indoor cat tree and two other four-foot-tall two-tier cat towers will, of course, be kept.  More photos, here . View video, here .
